Custom B51 stock pictures ,
« on: February 06, 2008, 11:29:44 PM »
A friend  who used to make pwoder burner stocks and just got into airguns sent this one for us to try out as he isnt left handed. Hopefully he will soon have available custom Bam50/51 stocks , thumbhole, FT, maybe the bull-pups. Anyway, this isnt completly finished but gives you some idea of what he is doing. This one is a Birch laminate,

and I think I posted this before(?),
and a bull-pup,

 Feedback is welcome.

Great looking woodwork John!

One of these days I need to hold onto some cash and buy another B50....., but this time I'll buy it from Big Ed:)

I've never liked the stocks on the B50, so I imagine there are more people with the same opinion.  Bet he could sell quite a few of those.  Good to see ya over here too, you don't visit enough:)

That's the bull pup that has me thinking about doing the same thing to my B50.  He definitely knows what he's doing with the B50/51's, both inside and out.  Later.

Man that looks sharp. Nice piece of lumber. I think that could make me buy a BAM :-)

I am just test driving that one and I hear a Purple Heart wood FT stock is going to shpw up so I may try that one too (FUN stuff!  And if anyone else needs someone to try out there stocks, airguns , scopes heck even a 2008 Chevy I am willing to give it a try for you).
The Purple Heart is a thumb up pistol grip sort of affair with acceessory rail ect... .. I get some pictues up as soon as I get a Bam mounted in ti.

That purple heart one will be a sho-nuff pretty one. I can't wait to see that one. I spoke with Jon the other day about the B50/51's and about what Ed does to them and it's got my interest up.. Although I did say I would never buy another Chinese AG, I think after they Ed has Americanized them they become a nice shooter . thanks for sharing . kirby

I like the left handed stock. That's just what I need. Maybe a birch/beech laminate.
