Boar squirrel...
« on: February 15, 2008, 06:46:19 AM »
I spotted what appeared to be a football in the crook of ''THE''tree...What a BIG tree rat!Well,I watched the guy work over the acorn pile, grabbing a select acorn(I've yet to figure out what makes the acorns''select'')and run back up to the crook in the tree that he wrongly believes offers safe harbor.......O.K I say to myself, from where did this big guy appear from??And I figured he had to have been run out of another stand of hardwoods nearby...well,I watched him stuff four acorns down and let him get good and settled on number 5,thats right 5 acorns...no wonder he got kicked out of his old neighborhood.....and thats about when the pellet hit him...And as most of you know that I usually post pics of my harvests, this pic(I feel)was just TOO graphic...THE CPH caught right in the right ear,and needless to say he never even twitched, but what a thud he made when he hit the ground. This guy is a HUGE boar of a squirrel.I did get a pic of him.And it just doesn't do him justice.

Yeah, you NEED to show us a pic of that squirrelzilla. Graphic doesn't bother me. After all, you can't grill it until you kill it.
