Been sitting wth the terantula under my bed waiting for time to go visit my friend and turn a new hat for the CFX. took the CFX spring and seal and shuffed it into my CF30 with the hat I made for the stutzen. Man is that cf30 fantastic now! what a turnaround. quiter and less recoil than the cfx.. anyways I digress. Turned a 2piece tophat for my cfx and drilled out the centre to get it the same weight as the stock one. also heatshrinked the guide to get the terantula to fit snug. maccari seal on cfx as well and some tar later.. first few shots was dieseling so I stripped her again and cleaned it out and put in less moly. no dieseling now just a sharp snap. Seems like the time from trigger pul to end of recoil is much shorter. Will only be able to say more once I shot it a bit in the day but she seems great! Had to really grind the ends of the terantula down though to get them square. anyone else found this before?
