Cobra Air Guns
« on: February 23, 2008, 09:44:23 AM »
Today I had the pleasure  of getting to meet Dave at his Cobra Airguns shop.  I had been looking forward all week to today so I could motor over to Cobra Airguns for my first visit.  To say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time there would be a severe understatement !!   Dave is really a super nice guy who I liked from the minute I met him and the air gun offerings in his store certainly made me smile !!  I would've stayed longer and looked at more air guns but I had to go pick up my wife,,, but I thanked Dave and told him I would definitely be back,,, which I certainly
will many times :)   !!!   Thanks again Dave....

Always good to put a face behind a name or storefront on the internet.  Sounds like a place I'd like to visit, but it's a bit of a drive for me:(

Boy all you guys are lucky..:) Wish Dave would open up a store somewhere here in S.C.... hehe  Sounds like you all had a great time looking at all the eye candy that Cobra Air Guns has to offer. I am jealous to say the least. But on the other hand if I lived near one of the stores I would go out of control.. :).. Jeff you are gonna have to control yourself when you visit again.. hehe. I know I could not trust myself.. lol

Dave I am glad you told us about L.I.F.T.. I would like to place it in the GTA Library if you do not mind. Also we have a Long Island Discussion and Events Forum now where you can post any upcoming events or just chew the fat..

Hey Gene,,,, thanks for the Long Island Discussion and Events Forum    :)   that's great !!!!!

As for me controlling myself on my next visit to Cobra,,,,,, I will freely admit that will be extremely difficult.....  First thing I did when I got home yesterday was check the balance in my air gun checking account   :D

so now you can all see why i have such a hard time deciding on a new rifle,i feel like a 10yr old walking into toys-r-us.....my problem is that i don't have self control,if not for dave actually putting the brakes on my purchases,i would have at least 20 guns in my firs 8 wks of airgunning, that is what makes cobra airguns unique, dave genuinely cares about custumers, who as myself, has become more of a friend than a custumer,i was afforded the opportunity to take home a brand new CFX for the weekend, compliments of dave(COBRA AIRGUNS)...this  care & concern that dave shows me,is extended to all custumers, just as GTA has made me feel since joining with this forum.................GTA + COBRA AIRGUNS = A HAPPY AIRGUN FAMILY.......

JEFF we need to hook-up and talk about what i mentioned last night, i knew you would enjoy your visit at cobra airguns.

Bob and myself just want to promote a fun, safe sport. We want the air gun community to grow leaps and bounds. We want to have as much information available for new air gunners to see. Anything to make it easy for one to break into air gunning, without spending an arm and a leg..:) Many of our members have demonstrated how a simple Chinese B-3 air rifle that costs less than $30.00 can be a starter air rifle... Vince and other members have written great reviews on many different air rifles which can give a new air gunner some additional knowledge about air guns. Our GTA Library is full of great technical information and links to even more.  Our membership is de versified from one end of the air gun spectrum to the other end. We just want everyone who comes here to be able to ask questions and get proper information and feed back. It is all Positive..:)

Bob and I are always open for ideas for making the GTA even a better place to come..:)
