New Crosman Pellets?
« on: August 20, 2006, 10:30:14 PM »
I tried to buy some Copperheads on Firday in preparation for my weekend rabbit hunt.  No tienes nada............

What I found were pellets in a new tin with new graphics -at least, new to me....

The package was marked "pointed premium grade lead airgun pellets" in white letters on a small red adhesive lable.  Under the label, the tin was marked "wadcutter premium grade lead airgun pellets."

The contents LOOK like Copperheads BUT these were very shiny, very smooth in finish, with no flash.  They were clean and so far, they've all been the same size.

And my wife's little Shadow with newish CDT trigger shoots them exceptionally well.  In fact, this Saturday, I shot some of the best groups with that rifle that I ever shot.  I really wish I'd have brought my .177 R-9 along to try them in now.

I am wondering if these things are the same as Copperheads or some "new and improved" version, as they seem to be made to a little higher standard that the Copperheads of old and shoot VERY well out of three of the .177 guns in my household, two of which I thought liked Copperheads as good or better than anything else out there.

Anybody know what these are?
