Haven't heard anything about these for the last few weeks.  I know the Air Arms version of the magazine is 50GBP shipped in Europe, that is roughly $98.36.  Add international shipping and for the price of one magazine you could almost buy two QB78's.  Somehow I don't think this one is going to be a big hit in the States unless they REALLY cut the price down, but you never know.  Even additional clips add up to about $73...yikes!

As far as I know the first batch has gone out.  For certain I was shooting last week with a guy who had bought one for his QB78D (in the UK)  The guys at Rowan have been on a short break for the UK school holidays but if you check on their website  http://www.rowanengineering.co.uk/ they should be back and taking orders.  Try emailing them as the site may not have been updated.  The guy I know who bought his was given a separate link by email.  As for the US price I'm afraid I haven't got a clue but they should be cheaper than the UK price as the VAT (tax) of 17.5% should be removed for overseas sales.

Unforunately we in the UK pay far more for everything  You would be in tears if you had to buy fuel at our inflated prices.  The trouble with high transport costs is it has a knock on effect on everything you buy.  Add to that the blasted 17.5% Value Added Tax (not applicable to overseas sales) you can understand why it is so expensive.  We pay $200 for a QB78D and over $140 for a standard QB78 and those are discount prices!!!  You just don't realise how lucky you are.

Guess its how you look at it.
one mag for 90+ another for 70+ , if you have two QBs it would still be cheaper than getting a 8 shooter like the 850.
unless ya just want another gun LOL

Guess I never really looked at in terms of comparing it with other repeating CO2 guns, but I guess you're right Buster.  Maybe I should just get 8 QB's in a couple calibers, then I would have a multicaliber repeater....bet Rowan doesn't make one like that:)   For about $600 I could get these 8 QB's and still be under the price of the average repeating PCP!  Who am I kidding, I've easily poured $400-$500 into a custom QB or 2260 over the last couple years, I would probably buy a Rowan kit if I had the cash on hand.

Another alternative is sell your QB's and buy an RWS 850, Buster... hehe That way you do not have to load pellets in all eight QB', just load 8 pellets in one 850.. Does that sound logical? lol

Only have two QB's  Gene, not eight,  but yes having a plastic stocked 8 shot rifle MAY be better than a all metal & wood single shot like the QB, even an un-tuned , just might be better. SO much more you can do with 80 doller gun vs the .200 + gun and still have money left over to buy pellets LOL
Of course like Dano said, just spend 400 to 600 or even more  for the best mutil shot gun around.
