RWS 350 Magnum open sights suck
« on: February 25, 2008, 02:22:41 AM »
hello all,
i love my new 350 except for the open sights.  the front sight is hard to see in dim light or dark background.  does anyone know where or how you can put glow sights on this gun without major gunsmithing?...the screwy thing is RWS put a 8mm dovetail on the end of the barrel.
i like shooting open sights under 30 yds.  i have ordered a BSA 3x12x44 scope but do not plan to use it all the time.

thanx,

bhawanna

I ordered a set of front globe inserts from Neil Price (UK Neil on most forums) . A set of 10 acrylic floating aperture disks that fit the Diana front globe (iirc M17 standard)- 3.2mm through 5mm . Makes a 110% improvement using a Williams FP-AG reciever sight . There have been a few posts on how to make them, if you're so inclined. For little money and a weeks lead time,Neil gets them made spot on .
