Interesting grouping..
« on: March 02, 2008, 08:33:08 AM »
I have been having difficulty getting good groupings with my QB79. I realy never get them closer than say 20mm for 5 shots on 15m. I am however starting to figure out that the QB is hold sensative like a springer.. Dont try and bench her.. then it realy starts to open up.. anyways.. from day one the idea was that this will be for my son after I have had my way with it. I let him have a 5 shot group on 15m. Prone with me using my hands as a rest for him. The shot low was him aiming low to try and get the group in the target. Anyways. 5 shot group @ 15m using a qb by a 6year old.. *_*_*_*_*_* am I proud of him.. I cant group that QB like that(which makes me think I am to close to the scope an getting a lot of paralax) Anyways.. soon he will be joining on the HFT range with groupings like this.. He may just show up some grey beards :D

Guys, relax, he hasn't had the years and years of practicing bad habits that we have :-)!  Hey, Dan, there's the answer for your guns, get one of your kids to shoot it.  Later.

What a great thread!

I don't know how many times I have seen youth and enthusiasm overcome age and treachery. Several times, my son has kicked my tail fishing and shooting. I am proud of him, but at the same time, upset with myself for not being any better than I am.
