I just pushed the button,......

On my second PCP. I was a committed springer shooter up till a few Months ago.

Still, it was a great price and something rather special I feel. So to compliment my Steyr LG110 FT, I now am expecting in the next few days:

EVANIX AR6

woot!!!

Thanks guys,

However I don't think it will make a very good FT shooter.........the Steyr is still king of that hill. The AR6 will be used for what it is designed for........whackin possums and things!

Besides we have a funny rule which says sumthin or other about not damaging the targets........GO FIGURE?

I dunno if the Gamo squirrl will stand up to 55 ft lbs plus impacts......lol

When it arrives you will be among the first to see pictures.

The Springers are still with me......sell one?????.........Gene are you mad?????? LOL

cheers to all

PS: Anyone else here got one of these?........would appreciate swapping notes.

Adam

Well Bob, it weren't that expensive. Actually I would say it was the cheapest pcp sold in recent months in NZ. $ 752 NZ. Had a Leapers 4-16 atop it.

It just said "special" to me, and I do believe reading about them that they are on the robust side,....I will certainly have to get myself either a buddy bottle for top ups in the field, or a pump. I can't imagine Damage being very patient with me while I run back to the car to refill every couple of clips........lol

Pics, certainly will be posted when It arrives. I was eyeing up a Career tanker carbine .22 before I spotted this, they sell for about $580 NZ here new.

Thanks for all your best wishes. see you with an update real soon I hope.

I am hoping that I can put the "hammer down" on a few of my furry friends here.

Power is not limited here in New Zealand for Airguns. There is a possibility that an amendment to the Arms Act may require Airguns above 19j to be subject to a License, but that is legislatively stalled at the moment. It still does not restrict ownership or use for any purpose within the laws that exist. We may use Airguns in a safe manner,..and may not cause alarm to anyone....interpretation of that is the tricky part sometimes.

Apart from the intended but hereto stalled amendment, there are no restrictions at all. Importing of Airguns is subject to restrictions on two classes, fully automatic (includes paintball or softair) which they are then designated as requiring a license. Also a restriction on import exists on Police discretion on any especially dangerous airgun, which could mean anything,

So far we have dragonslayers widely available to the public without need of FAL.

pretty much airgun paradise really.
