Thanks Dave for you trouble, I am always looking for good buys on scopes...

I only have one Leapers Scope out of about 30 or so other brands. Sometimes it is hard to find the right scope for the air rifle I want to put it on. Since my eyes are not as young as they used to bewhich adds to myfield of choices..

, I really feel comfortable with the 4-12X40 AO scopes. The clearer the better. I also like the liter scopes. Simmons ProAir has been one of my favorite scopes for my air guns. I like the fact that they are liter and the optics are clear. Of course I have some scopes that are not worth even putting on an air gun...

Also I am on a beer budget when it comes to scopes as well.

I watch Natchez like a hawk because I found they have some good sales and also Optics Planet sometimes can compete with there no charge for shipping policy.. I only have a couple of the BSA 3-9X40 AO scopes and they are borderline with my eyes, so they sit in my cabinet. Never bought another brand in that power to compare. My shooting is generally outat 50 to 60 yards max but most is under 50 yards. Nothing like a nice clear crisp scope when shooting targets..

I assume Joe is a young buck and has eyes like a fox..

Hope he is happy with his new Leapers. I know some of the members here just love them. Right now I am using a BSA 3-12X44 AO on my BSA Lightning but will be changing over to one of my Simmons Pro Air 4-12X40 AO's soon. My Simmons scopes get moved around allot..

since I have been buying some German Air Rifle's. I do not ownany magnum air rifle's any more so I do not worry about scope's breaking.
