I had ordered a dicovery from crosman which i recieved last friday along with some premier hollowpoints. My first impression out of the box was wow, for the price this is a very nic pcp. Beautiful walnut stock and nice finish. I have previously owned an airforce condor but had to send it back because someone at pyramyd air swapped my tank with an older model. So this gun with pump at half the price of the condor with pump was perfect. I immediately started shooting in my back yard with a gun rest and 2-7xabout32 scope. Initially i  was having a few problems. I would put 2 pellets on top of eachother and then a stray would appear. So before i got two upset i went to Dicks sporting goods and bought the only .22 pellets they had, crosman pointed. After this switch i was very pleased. At about 17 yards i have gotten groups ranging from my best so far .290 in to about an average of .440 in. These are 5 shot groups measured with a calliper. I also just ordered a pelletsampler from straight shooters so i will post my resuls soon with the best pellet.

Mine seems to like the JSB Exacts (15.9 grain). RWS Hobbys are OK too.

I have 6 more pellets to try from the sampler but so far besides the crosman pointed it seems to do well with crosman premier domed and a pellet i have never heard of called Napier Power Hunter, Its basically a domed pellet. Hopefully it doesnt rain tomorrow so i can finish up the tets and report the groupings.

The results are in from a 26 pellet sampler, the best pellet for my discovery 22 is the crosman premier domed (14.3g). A few other pellets managed to group well but when i shot them a second time they did not do so well. I shot three 5 shot groups from about 17 yards with the crosman premier and shot an average of .318 in groups ctc. (.214, .251, .490). On the .490 group it was only one pelllet off a little bit that made the group suffer so im convinced that it was just a bad shot. Now i Just need to order some premiers, anybody know of any good deals on the web?

First picture is group .214, the surrounding groups are from various pellets center group is crosman premier.
Second is .251
Third is .490
-By the way the black dots you see are my aim points which are quarter inch circles,
-If you would like to see a certain pellet grouping from the sampler let me know and ill post up a picture.

CPs have been very inconsistent lately. Pyramyd Air has the best prices on them but I won't buy them again until I know the quality issues are fixed. They are dirty and inconsistent in size. I have shot 1" groups at 50 yards with JSBs in that gun.
