Been awhile
« on: March 06, 2008, 04:57:42 AM »
I live in Carmel, shoot in my backyard.  Anyone else from Indiana still checking in here on GTA?

By the way, my folks own the property bordering the Ovid club on the east side.  I used to set clay pigeons up there on Tuesday nights when I was in high school.

Just curious.  -JC

Where did you go to school?

I was at Pendleton.  My dad taught at Madison Heights for 35 years...

I used to mow that cemetary to the east of the Conservation Club, they always shot practice arrows into the hay bales there, and some of them would come thru while I was mowing!

Good times...

My dad taught Biology and Zoology.  He's about 5'3", and wears that "beard with no mustache" look, kind of like the Lucky Charms leprechaun. :)

I graduated PHHS in '87, by the way.  Just found out that I missed my 20-yr reunion last summer (wasn't paying attention).

Mom and Dad still own the farm East of the Ovid conservation club (they hate guns, though, haha).  I used to sneak down to the rifle range to sight in my airgun scopes (non-member, thus the sneaking).
