Gamo CFX .22 (Pics. added)
« on: March 17, 2008, 01:11:24 PM »
No replies on the Big Cat or Crosman 1077 and I have to unload some inventory to cover my 850 HPA conversion and scuba tank, so here it is - Self tuned CFX in .22 with Maccari lubes and seal. Deburred, honed, shoots smooth like a dream! Has Charlie's trigger in it as every Gamo should :)  Loves Crosman Premiers. I have a Tasco Golden Atler 3-9x 32 with one piece mounts on her, but will sell without a scope. I'm still on the fence with this one, might keep it, because it's pretty easy to shoot and accurate! I have removed the sights, but still have them.

$280 + labor invested, asking $240 with scope and mounts or $200 just for the gun.

Hi,

Im not to familiar with break barrels and been interested in trying one out. Is the CFX designed with the new gas pinion mechanism or srping? Sorry for the sounding stupid but I've been into modifying crossman 22XX lately and PCP and thought i might try a nice break barrel. let me know. and maybe some pictures would be nice. thanks,

Brandon,
CFX is an underlever, which means it has a fixed barrel and a separate cocking lever under it. It has a regular spring in it, but can be upgraded to gas spring. If you're looking for a great breakbarrel I strongly reccomend a chinese B26. See PeakChick's post below, she has one for sale with scope and mount.
