Fix - One Heck of a Guy!!!

Paul, aka Fix, and I had a very long and enjoyable conversation this evening.  He wanted to answer my PM but he asked that I call to talk.  Prior to reading his PM asking me to call him, I found a number of topics here that addressed my question.  Guess who had started most of these topics?  Yep, Paul / Fix.  This is where I saw his machine work on guns and the fact that he gave one away to a fellow member for his B'day.  Not just anybody would be so nice.  I wish the world was full of "Pauls" or people like him.  
  Our conversation started out airguns, then went to life before, returning to airguns again.  He and I see eye to eye on a number of topics.  If you ever have the chance to meet or chat with Fix/Paul, I hope your time is as well spent as mine was.

BTW, not sure if I know any VM, other than Brown Eyed Girl, which you'll find a slaughtered attempt at that song online in honor of the lady next door.

If that song was supposed to be a request, it don't exist on karoake yet.  Truth being, I'm no singer and don't even know very many songs, especially VM songs.  But if it makes you feel any better I'm listening to your song right now.  I like, I like....  And if it were on karaoke I'm think I could sing it to.  My kinda tune and has a southern country blues type sound.  It reminds me of an old song someone requested I sing on the karaoke forum..... gosh what was that song....  aahh, Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues.  It's up on that link I sent you.  Although I noticed for some stupid reason they have removed some of my files.  Maybe lack of traffic.

Earlier in the week I too had the pleasure of a chat with Paul. Ol "Fix" is a very sharp and knowledgeable guy who knows his trade and is interesting and enjoyable to talk to.

Kind of a shame we all live so far apart

Oh geez....  seriously?  You were talking with him just before me?  Ouch... he's gonna have one heck of a cell bill if you two talked as long as he and I did.  It is a darn shame we all don't live closer.  Maybe next time when you're up my way we will have time to get together.  I'll be down your direction April 11th - 16th but I'll be on a business trip at Orange Beach.

Yeah, I brought that up to him and let him no we have a 16th b'day coming up in two weeks and I was wondering if he had any spare cars he wanted to give away.  LOL  We had a jolly good time yapping about everything.  Only if we both had AT&T cells it would have all been free for both.  If he has an AT&T home phone I can call him free.  Gotta love free 'eh Dan?
