Paul my deepest condolences :0 I know how you feel. I had to say goodbye to my Dad, 16yrs ago he was only 47. He had a long battle with cancer and the last time he went into the hospital, he said he just couldn't fight anymore, I'm tired and want to go to sleep. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. If you need an ear you've got my#.

May you always remember those good times you'll cherish forever . My dad taught me to fish and to love the outdoors. It's been five years , I still miss him and always will. May God bless you and your family Paul in this tough time. kirby

Sorry to hear that, Fix.  I know how it feels.  My father passed away a year and a half ago, brain tumor at 56.  My father in law died of cancer at 46, 2 weeks before the wife and I were married.  I miss them both.

I won't tell you it gets easier, you know as well as I do that that is a crock.  It does get easier to remember the good times, though.

I hope he went easily and peacefully, and wish you and your family the best.

Life moves so fast.  It was just last week you and I had a life's talk which included your dad and boys.  Our talk then included the ever so expected, but never desired part of life, death.  I'm sorry to hear of another of your losses Paul.  If anything good can to come of it, maybe it will help bring you and your boy closer.  If you need an ear, you have my number.
