Yea most of the good stuff was already covered but I can add this(same post I used in a few threads recently): Top consistent shooters in most 1000fps rifles are pellets in the 7.9-8.5 range, the sweet spot is suppose to be around 8.2-8.3g. Try RWS superdomes (8.3g) these work work well and so do Crosman Premier hp's(7.9g), Gamo Hunters(8.3g) and Rockets(9.6g or 8.2g different sites says different, nothing on the can) and Predators(8.10). Except for Gamo's alot of rifles like their own brand of pellets, where as the chamber and pellet are sized according to manufacturers specificatons. My Whisper Loves heavier pellets. I have them listed in groups as how they shoot. I base it off my standard pellet I use the Crosman premeir hollow point mainly because it groups well and I needed a hp for my Beeman trap. Example Rockets shoot 2 inches higher then the CPHP, Gamo hunter 2 inches right, Tomahawks 1 inch low etc. I just pic the pellet for my needs, check my chart, adjust the scope for that pellet and generally it will be right on. Good tip is like everyone says about the GRT III trigger-have barrel pointed at target BEFORE you put finger in trigger area! Very sensitive smooth trigger. The bipod is handy device and works well. To get on paper with my scope I had to crank the clicker like 60 clicks Left, 40 clicks down. The scopes screws do come lose from the recoil, tighten at least once after a 1000 shots. My Whisper seems to need to warm up, like the 1st 3 shots suck, so I don't get serious to after the 3rd shot. The hold is sensite too, 3 inches in front of trigger assemble, laying on your flat palm works well, I added about 2/3's a lb to my stock by stuffing it with a Nerf football, this balenced it for me, and tooks some of the twang out of the sound. More thump sound now. Not reccomened with the Whisper is the cleaning pellets, they could get stuck in the dampener, though I forgot when I got my new Gamo cleanining /maintenance center and shot the felt pellet, it did not get stuck, it popped like a .22 rimfire in my house and came out with enough force to crack a window 5 ft away. So be warned.
