Anyone else having a problem with the side wheel objective adjustment?  Mine seems to have a nasty tendency to shift as I shoot.  It seems to be worse when I have the 80 mm side wheel installed.  BTW, my scope is a 3-12X44 full size AO (obviously).  Other than this problem, I really like the scope, but I have to refocus every 1/2 dozen shots or so.  Irritating!  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Stop pin is built in to the mount.  Guess I should have included that, it's an Accushot one peice high mount.  Stop pin shows no indication of bending, and the pin hole in the scope rail shows no sign of elongating.  I'm sure this isn't scope shifting, the adjustment knob actually moves after several shots.  I've also checked stock screws and all mount screws.  BTW, rifle is a CFX.

If you have another scope and even a mount, try switching them. I also have that scope but without the side wheel and it works great.

Daved,

     Can you take the side - wheel off and use the scope or at least put a smaller wheel on it ?  Good luck...

Dave,

I have also had that problem. I had to return the scope to leapers from a warranty replacement. Check your serial number on the scope, if it's a low number then it's probably a bad batch.   The one had would change the objective setting every 6 or 10 shots. I contacted leapers told them the problem and they created arms number for me to send it back. Here's my leaper contact  Tina ding she is the one I have done business with in the past from scopes to setting up my business account there.  You can reach her here at office@leapers.com. She will help you out, just make sure you stillhave your receipt for the scope.

I have the same scope but there is no AO movement at all. The knob for the AO is pretty tight so unless yours is tight it's probably not on correctly or the O-ring is broken allowing it to spin to freely.
