Well I have been doing allot of work around the house including finishing up the inside of my garage, puttin in 300 feet of fencing, pool deck and I could keep goin on...:) I thought when you retired it got easier... NO WAY!! lol
Anyway I was just finishing putting up all my air rifles on the new wall gun rack and something caught my eye. I turned my head and looked in the back yard back by the fence. Saw a nasty looking rat that had long hair and a very long tail. At first I thought it was the neibors cat but never saw a cat with pointed nose before.. :) Boy was I excited... he he he.
He was only about 30 yards away from the back of the garage. I reached over and grabed my QB and layed up against the door and took careful aim and squeezed da trigger. Yikess, no gas. Dang! Turned and grabed the S1K and popped in a RWS Superdome. Leaned up against the door again and he was gone from where he was. Looked around a bit and saw him in the corner of the yard. Took aim and POP got him. I walked over and he was dead as a rock. One of the ugliest rats I have seen since I was in Viet Nam. Probably weighed around 5 pounds. About that time momma come out wantin to know what I was doin. She walked over to me and I pointed at the rat and she took off. Fastest I have seen her go in a long time...:) I did not take any pics because momma was standing up on the back deck watchin what I was gonna do with it but now I wish I had because I would of liked for you all to have seen how dang ugly dat rat was.. I had a small fire going about 30 feet away and took the rake and tossed him in the hot coals.....:)
