Just remove the small roll pin on bottom of brake and it slips appart and the sighe will slip in the slot without a hammer..:)

I do not see a roll pin. This sight is different than the one on the gamo replacement parts website. The muzzle brake also looks different for the sight mount. I wish it had not been taken apart.

Would warming the sight help or could the fiber optic element be melted?

The small roll pin is very small..:) it is on bottom of brake towards the front.

Is it like 1/64 th inch just behind the indent for the front sight? It looks like a cut off point from the injection molding. There is a really small pin which moves in the rail on the muzzle break.
