i was an idiot....

I called him a few weeks after I had bought my first S1K. I figuered he could bump it up to 1400 fps with his super dooper turbo tune... he he he.
Anyway when I haded him my S1K, he looked at me and asked me what did I want done to it. Told him the Super Turbo Tune with GTX-III trigger. Also mentioned that I wanted it to shoot 1400 fps when I picked it up...

He turned and smiled at me and said, he could not do that. He would give me the Super Turbo Tune w/GTX-III trigger and the fps may increase some but no where near 1400 fps. You have to understand that I had been in Air Gunning for about 3 weeks.. he he he.. and he new it. Was quite obviouse when he realized I was dead serious about the fps....
CDT being such a good natured fella he said he would call me when it was done and I went on my way. Was on pins and needles for 2 or 3 days...
The time for me to pick it up and I zoomed over to his place to pick it up. He said shoot it. I picked up the S1K and he handed me a couple pellets. Stepped out back in his shooting rang and fired the first one off. Dang it felt weak and the trigger was almost to easy to pull now..

WHAT DID I KNOW.. lol....... I fired another one and same thing. Hardly any noise and no rattle or spring noise. I though that I had just spent all that money for what?
I did not realize what he had done until I went home and set up targets which I had a hard time hitting before I took it ove for the tune. Well I was surprised that I was able to hit the paper target every time... Not the bulls eye but the paper target. The light came on and I started to pay more attention to what the older guys in the forums were saying. Practiced and practiced shooting paper for a couple months. Until I could hit the bulls eye 8 out of 10 times at 45 feet....
Also this is another example of how much better grouping was after the tune. Pay attention to the Extreme Deviation again my friends. It has been the key to me hitting any targets consistantly.. he he he
