A nutter one bites the dust

Here's my first kill with the Beeman P3.  Saw this little pest cross the back yard thru my back patio door.  Grabbed the P3 and 4 or 5 of the first .177 pellets I could lay my hand on - Gamo Rockets.  Missed on the first shot from about 10 yards, but he wasn't in profile and it wasn't a great angle.  Reloaded and moved enough to get a clean second shot, maybe 8 yards, then waited for him to stick his little head out again.  He did, and a nice profile, too. The entry wound is just under his ear, with no exit wound and after a 10-12 foot drop and a bit of dancing, that was that.  Now if I can just get someone out to fix this hole in the woodwork. . .

Great shootin Tommy and the pistola look's fine next to her harvest. I'm fond of hunting with mine, here's a nutter that I took last winter with 1377. Thank's for sharing your hunt. Ed

Traded JW 3n00n a nice knife for that B3.  (thnaks again, J! - hope you like the knife, too)  The B3 is a tack-driver.   J also added some green fiber optics to the sights, which my old eyes really appreciate.  And that B3 single pump is one sweet-shooting pistola!  I have been shooting it almost every day since I got it a week ago, out back on the screen porch.

Works wonders at 15m or less, and has dispatched innumerable pest rodentia inside and out. The bright sights have been very handy in dimly lit attics and cellers.

It's greatthat you'reenjoying it, becauseit's only been getting shot a few roundsevery couple of weeks or so . . . and it deserves better, as it's exceptionally accurate.
