I'm up early on the weekends out of habbit,so this saturday would be no exception went out to fill the three bird feeders of course my trusty hunting buddy [Pete]was there ready to go out to make his rounds in the yard. Pete is a Parsons terrier so he has natural ability when it comes to hunting and is a great kill and catch dog ,I mean he doesn't care about size.{he would attack a bear if I pointed a gun @ it.} So we filled the feeders and Pete was running a track in the yard which I didn't pay any attention to because that was his reg, called him in and went inside to make my morning cup of joe. NO sooner than I downed my first cup Pete was @ the bacb door going nuts. Sure enough looked out of the kitchen window,four tree-rats outside trying to raid my feeders.So I told Pete to "get-em boy" ,and he flew too the back door I opened it and the sh-t hit the fan. By the time I got my shoes on and grabbed the BEEMAN .177 Pete had already tore big pieces of bark off the 30"oak tree. I'll let the pictures speak for them selves.
