THE BEST THING I EVER BUILT!!

About 8 years ago I finally had the money to fulfill one of my dreams I purchased a Wood Mizer portable sawmill. The nice lady next to me in the picture(taken today) is my dear friend Charlotte. She was one of my very first customers. I built the Chapel for her completly from pine trees I cut down on her property, (NO store bought wood.) Our familys have become one ever since. The Gentleman in the blue shirt next to me is my very dear friend "Willy", 8 years ago Willy at the "young" age of 71 was as spry as they come, He climed all over the roof of that Chapel with me. Willy & I built it al by ourselves.There have been many Weddings in "Our Little Chapel in the Woods", The latest being my oldest daughter Shannon! They have held services there every Sunday since it was completed.  I have built alot of houses & love happy cusomers, I was caught off guard today in front of over 100 people, after the pic. of Me & Charlotte, she anounced I was the one that built the Chapel! No matter what I ever build in the future,, I will never top this "Little Chapel in the Woods". Tim. P.S. There is a sad part to todays story, I will post that at "Back Room".

Yel0,, thanks for the kind words. Marvin, we have been airgun friends for some time now, 3000 miles apart mind you. We have differant interests in our guns. We both love to target shoot, But I like to hunt as well. I know you respect me as well as I do you. Im not ever so religious as maybe I should be I admit. But today at My Chapel I once again had a feeling I cannot describe. A labor of love?? You Betcha! As my post says,,,, THE BEST THING I EVER BUILT!!! Regards,, Tim.

Tim, that is a beautiful setting not to mention the very nice Chapel you and your friend Willy built. Your heart is made of Gold Tim and the good Lord will remember you buddy. Thanks for sharing your memories.

Tim, that is truly beautiful.  I would encourage you to check out that "feeling" that you described.  I think you may be on to something, you know that God speaks in mysterious ways.

You know Gene, it's been said hundreds of times here on this forum, but I have to thank you again for creating and maintaining this forum.  With all the seemingly bad news out there, this place has attracted people like Tim who are selfless enough to share their talents with people they've never seen or talked to.  I think your work here on the forum is as valuable as Tim's Chapel.  

By singling out Gene and Tim I sure don't intend to disregard the generous acts that all of you others out there in GTA land have done and will continue to do...

Tim,you are blessed with a gift,you say you are not as religious as you should be...I believe that GOD knows better,he definitely is using you in more ways then you know,he has a plan for all...even if  you don't believe so..........I was getting ready to go to sleep,something told me to check the forum one last time,I did & reading of your prayers within your CHAPEL has bought me to tears.......The SPIRIT is surely working thru you.....Thank you & GOD BLESS YOU..............
