GRTIII Trigger
« on: September 13, 2006, 10:53:45 AM »
Just received one of Charlies GRTIII triggers .  The machine work and finish is absolutely first class.  Installed in my Gamo 440 using the simple instructions provided with no hassels.  The trigger is crisp and has a very definite 2 stage feel.  A great improvement on the stock trigger.  I am going with the settings as received.  They are real close to what I consider optimum for the type of shooting I do.  I may fine tune it in the future, but for now it's real close.  This trigger is by far the finest part of my Gamo 440.  The grooved trigger face has a real nice feel to it, the flat surface is far better than the stamped out curved face of the original.  It has the feel of a match trigger with a trigger shoe.  I was amazed at the perfect fit of the pivot and guidd pins, absolutely no slop whatsoever.  The finish is flawless - it's a real jewel.
Thanks again Charlie for carrying on and producing such a superior product.

The more people who buy Gamo's eventually find that out what a difference it makes with a GRT  trigger. Like I have said before the Gamo is a good pellet rifle but after the trigger job and a tune it is a fantastic pellet rifle..
