It's not bad in clarity, although not as clear as my Simmons. The reason I'm selling is my 50mm bell on my Simmons has spoiled me in brightness . This banner is IMO dark on the higher powers . It will focus down to 10 yards at 24 power and I used it for field target until I bought the mildot Simmons. kirby

Which Simmons did you get Kirby, if you don't me asking.
I would like to get a 44-50mm objective lens scope for my new (future) PCP.

thanks

I got the whitetail Classic with the mildots . 6.5X20X50 . Clearest , brightest scope for the money I've found. The crosshairs and dots are huge , but I've learned to live with them . I don't lose them on targets . LOL . MidwayUSA has them for $124 and change, but they're backordered at the moment . I have two and have ordered another. If I had the cash I'd order two. kirby

Will that scope stand up to a magnum powered air rifle?

Tim, I had it on a 12fpe Tuned TX200 that had a shot cycle you would have had to shoot to believe. and It wasn't on it long . I would say it might . It's not recommended for springer , but I had read that someone was using it on a TX200 and had shot it a couple of thousand shots without any problems, that's why I gave it a try. If I had to guess , I probably shot around 500 pellets through the TX with this scope on it. I've used it on a couple of PCP's since. kirby

Not sure if ALL Banners are built the same, but the R9 Goldfinger comes with a 4-12x40 Banner. :o  So I would think it would be OK. Tim if you decide not to get it, let me know, hehe.

FWIW, the 4x12x40 and the 6x18x50 banners are the only ones I've seen that have been springer rated . Hey,I'd love to sell the scope, but I want whoever buys it to be happy . thanks kirby
