first nut-muncher with the rws 54
« on: May 25, 2008, 03:51:03 PM »
got up early this morning to get ready for a golf tournament and went out back to feed the cat around 7:00.  nut munchers everywhere!!!....i ran inside to get my 350 mag and the new 54 was sitting there hollowing "take me!, take me!"...so i picked up the 54 and grabbed my jsb's.  i don't have a scope for it yet so i had to shoot open sights.  as i walked out on the porch, they scattered...typical nutter tactic since they are wise to me.  i walked into the edge of the woods and this rascal was running up a tree and stopped to take a look at me.....bad mistake on his part!!  i shouldered the 54, pushed the safety and BAM!....he fell about 30 feet out of the old hickory nut tree....upon examination i suspect this is the grand-daddy of alot a babies around here....the picture will show what i'm talking about.....ha!hehe...LOL!.....WOW!....i'm jealous!!!!!!
