Plastic Cap
« on: June 07, 2008, 04:16:42 PM »
I am in the process of pulling down my 440 to redo the seal (with the proper silicone grease and without chopping bits off it this time) when all of a sudden my attention turned to that plastic cap thing at the end of the receiver. I have decided that I think it is a flimsy thing and I don't like it one bit.  I was wondering if anyone makes or knows of a metal cap or something to replace it.   That plastic thing must go!!!

I just left if off on my old CFX.  Come to think of it, I think I left it off on the .22 CFX I sold to Fix too.  Hey, Paul, you want it back?  I think it's still kicking around somewhere :-).  Later.
