« on: June 13, 2008, 09:36:03 AM »
Just picked up an 8 oz. jar for $25.00 at Graingers.com and it's confirmed the paste is 65% molybdenum disulfide.

My local Graingers didn't have it in stock, so I had it shipped from their website to the store (free shipping).

which sadly my loctite dealer doesn't have in stock and and doesn't even know when/if it will arrive. damn

but i'll be buying on ebay abbey grease from england

http://www.abbeysupply.com/product9.html (molybdenum disulphite grease for airguns)

and

http://www.abbeysupply.com/product11.html (moly g-n paste)

...which I have come to prefer immensely over a tub. These guys will sell to anyone, last time I checked Grainger wouldn't.

If you use that with the blue pill, you'd better not eat what you shoot. Could be toxic.  I picked up some of that moly paste last week. I also picked up a spray can of moly lube at the same time.

I've got a can of the Moly Spray. Not sure if it's the same stuff as mentioned.

It's Dow Corning 321 Dry Film Lube. Spray it on, & let it dry. Leaves a nice grey coat of Moly. Works pretty good too! I snagged a can from work. We use it to lube up Compactor Ram Guide Rails. Doesn't attract dirt like oil or grease. GREAT stuff, but smells like Donkey's butt!

Hey gunsup, is that $18 for #51048 8oz. bottle, or for #51049 16oz. bottle?
