CharlieDaTuna tunes them, I think anyways. You might want to have him install a GRT-III trigger too. Natchez has a good selection of scopes.

WELCOME to the GTA John,

The Hunter Extreme is a hard shootin rifle, and should have a strong airgun rated scope. Go to this site, it rates scopes as to their ability to handle different power airguns. : http://www.kermitairgunclub.com/scopes/

As for a tune, CharlieDaTuna is outstanding ! : CDT Website: http://www.charliedatuna.com/

Hey John and welcome aboard. Like Big Bill said your scope choice needs to be rated for heavy duty magnum recoil. Hawke 4X12 is a good one and not too heavy. Good luck talking CDT into tuning your EXTREME. I don't think he does that particular model but contact him anyway and ask. He's a great guy and you should definitly get one of his GRT111 triggers for your EXTREME. You'll be glad you did.Get your gun set-up right with scope and mounts, stay away from from those shiney gold pellets(try kodiaks and cp heavy's) and let us all know how she shoots.Don't be a stranger.

Hey John,

I just want to add, that your Hunter Extreme WILL REQUIRE a STRONG scope MOUNT !!!!!

The Leapers Accushot ONE piece mount is very strong and is only $15 to $19 dollars.

A good mount will help hold your scope together, by not letting it move around during recoil.

Let us know how your set up works out for you.

I have a BSA 4-12 airgun scope that seems to handle heavy recoil and vibration.  I also use a magnum airgun mount.  There have been some on ebay lately.  Go to ebay and search on airgun and I think they are still there.
