grounhog hunting with pcp
« on: June 16, 2008, 04:04:50 AM »
I've been ground hog hunting the last couple of weeks. I managed to take a total of 9 in 3 hunts.
4 on first hunt with my AirArms S400c .22
4 on second hunt with my B51 .22
and 1 more with the s400 on my 3rd try.
These were all at the same location on an abondoned farm. I just thought I.d share a pic of a couple that I shot.
There are more but I'll save them for later.

Excellent shooting and a great pic  :)

Looks like you whomped those G-hogs good  !!!!

I've been using my .22 Talon on em lately and have taken quite a few,,, been using the same pellets as in your pic,,, they've been working well.

I'm looking forward to your next set of pics  :)

My Air Arms shoots those cph's pretty good, and my B51 is ok with them but likes JSB's better. They seemed to kill the g'hogs quicker than the JSB's did. The AA shoots the cph's at 930 fps and my B51 shoots the JSB's at 890 fps.
