Red-Dot scopes?!?!?

Been having a time keeping my scope on my crosman zeroed in. Sometimes I think the temperature causes them to go out of wack. Expansion of the tube in the mounts etc.?!?!?!? Thought I'd give the red-dot scope (crosman from wal-mart) a trial run on it before purchasing a higher end model. But the big question is, can they stand up to the re-coil in a tuned rifle. That being said because the re-coil has been "tuned" down drastically!!!! Thanks, Thomas

I've been told that their is no problem with air gun recoil with red dot scopes since their is no optics ( only in 1 power ) no magnification, I've used them, their fun and easy but you need to be close enough to the target to see the bull., They adjust the same as a scope.Just put the dot on the target and that is all it takes. howie
