Now, is that a Model 34?  I've been kinda eye-balling getting one of those.  Is it a .22 or a .177?  Whatta you think of it?  Is it a good all-around rifle?

ZenMatt:
The 34 is definitely a good all around rifle in stock form.  It is the biggest RWS Diana seller and has been around for many years. I have the 36 which is the same rifle as the 34 except with better wood, checkering and sights, but it was discontinued about 1-2yrs ago.

The 34 (Panther 34, 36, etc.) is a solid 13.5-14fpe gun and they are manufactured in Germany by Diana which has been making airguns for 100yrs.  It's a great hunting gun and I 've even taken adult groundhogs with my 36 .177 which shoots CPL's and CPHP's @ 900-920fps.  8.2 & 8.3gr Meisterkugelns and Superdomes fly out of the muzzle @ 880 and 860fps respectively.
The 34 becomes an extremely accurate and even smooth shooter when it's professionally tuned (and quiet!), without incuring any power loss.
Sorry for highjacking the thread but since you asked..

That Falcon Hunter is a brahma of a kicker!  It's been a month and just when I think I've got shooting it figured-out- it proves me wrong again and again.  This one is indeed a hunter!  That 34 sounds like a really nice rifle to me...   maybe when I get back from vacation I'll pick one up...
