BSA Scope adjustments
« on: September 23, 2006, 04:33:17 AM »
Has anyone else had this "problem"?  I have a BSA 2-7x32 that came with my CFX mounted on a friends rifle.  This thing works just fine, but it's supposed to be 4 clicks per MOA.  In fact, it's only 3.  Not a big deal, but it definitely impacts precise adjustment.  Just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue.

Ya Dave

I gots two of em....:( . Yes I have the same problem also. In fact even the objective is inaccurate on both of them.. Most of my early scopes are BSA's. I have found that on all of them except two, that clicks and objective don't jive.....:) My Platinum and the Contender are the only two that are correct and I am selling both of them...:) They are to big for what I need them for. Basically I bought those two and a Leapers 50 mil. before I really new what I needed... Dummmmb..:)

I like the BSA 2 - 7 X 32 scopes out to 30 yards so they go on my two QB's. I have found that the Bushnell scopes are clearer. I have two of them now. I think Rabbit turned me on to them a while back. Bought one and put it on my CFX Synthetic .177 and the other one on my new S1k .20.

Now the Bushnell's are right on with windage and up and down clicks. Also the objective is right on the money also. Those two scopes, I do not have to put pin stripe tape on my objective for 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard increments.

Now you know you are not the lone ranger on those scopes...:)

I have one of those BSA scopes on my Supersport. Now I feel like the board idiot for never noticing it!!!
I noticed that the objective is way off. Indicates 75 yards when it is only 45.
I zeroed my scope at 30yards and never made any adjustments again. No need to... I can hit an emty shotgun shell at from 10 yards -  50yards without holding over or making adjustments.

For really long range shots I prefer to just aim a bit higher.
