TF41 $34.95 @ Compasseco.com
« on: June 21, 2008, 12:53:14 AM »
As I scrolled down through the Compasseco web site yesterday, I noticed a new price on their TF 41.  I purchased a TF 41 for $52.95 from them a couple of months ago so I know this is a good price if anyone is interested.

TF 41 is not a Fast Deer
« Reply #4 on: June 22, 2008, 02:13:32 AM »
Nope, the TF41 is not a fast deer.  I have both, the fast deer has a direct sear trigger, a different anti bear trap and there are other differences.  The TF 41 is, in $35, I would go with the TF41.

a break down on all three the QB 88,, Fast Deer ,, and the TF 41

I've had all three rifles they are alike in that they all shoot very good and are all side levers, You will need to tune them to get the most out of them. The Qb 88 has the best trigger the Fast deer has the hardest trigger, And can be polished to be hard but breaks clean. They all have 2 anti bear trap safety's , I shortened my barrels on all the rifles I had , I like carbines and I feel that they shot better after also I put a muzzle break on all of them , I currently have a TF 41 and it is a tack driver but all of them ended up being tack drivers too. So if you want a nice cheep rifle any of the three will be very good. The QB 88 is the most expensive , then the the TF 41 and last the Fast Deer , South Summit had the QB 88 at about 50 bucks , and Best airgun had the fast Deer at about 20  bucks and the TF 41 is now at Compasseo At about 35 bucks. all will end up costing 10 ,15 shipping. check the shipping and rifle cost before ordering, and if you want 2 guns you might get a break on shipping if you order more than one, I got 2 B2-245 for the same shipping awhile ago from south summit. If you would like more info on the guns my email me and I'll give you my phone # howie1a  ps I like the china rifles best so far.  Note I just realized  that all 3 will need to have the scope rails made longer  I did mine with a hacksaw blade and file, the reason is that most scopes will cover the loading port but their is also a other way I put a Nustar 4x30 tactial scope on my fast deer it is a short scope and works to keep the loading port so you can get your fingers in to load the pellet. this is a picture of what the TF 41 with iron sights at 10 yds.will do this is about 5 rds per bull.. so you can see it can shoot well, both the Fast Deer and the QB 88 will do the same.

Howie, that is one nice target sheet. Where did you come across it?

Also, very nice visual process on making the muzzle brake. I ordered two of the fast deer without front sights, so I'm going to making a few of those based on your method.

...but I believe the TF41 (B4-1)is basically a side-lever version of the B3 series.

To my knowledge, the TF 41 is the same as the B4-1 without the TF stamp on the barrell.
