I recently purchased the Gamo 1-piece scope mounts & after 1000-1200 shots atop a Gamo 850 Carbine the front screw which attaches the rings to the base has stripped out. I did not tighten it at all, but there is a rear screw & spring for elevation adjustment that does apply upward pressure. The force upwards combined with the medium recoil seemes to have been too much for the shallow threads in the aluminum base of these rings. Just a heads up for anybody considering these as a means of scope mounting.

In my short time as a Gamo collector, I started out with two piece mounts on my S1K. I have found that 1 piece mounts work best for me on all my Gamo's. I use the mounts that have a steel screw that screw down into the lock detent on the dove tail.

In the case of my S1K, I actually had to drill a shallow pilot hole in the dove tail to facilitate the set screw, because the S1K has the dove tail built into the barrel.

Yeah-they are the one-piece mounts you spoke of but they are the Gamo brand offered on their website. From the pics & actually holdingbthem they seem very nice. It's only after some use that the faulty nature of these mounts become evident. I bought 2 mounts, one for each 850 I own so I'll report if the second mount fails also. I was able to fix the broken mount with my ole' trusty JB weld. I hope this helps point out a potential problem with a product & I hope my case is an isolated incident.

Accushot one piece mounts. They are well made aluminum with nice set screws and ring screws "Allen Head". For the money I have very good luck with them. They have high and medium styles and cost around $17.00. That does't put to big a dent in  your pocket...

I have one B-Square but it cost me around $50.00. I was trying different mounts for the Gamo's to see which one's would hold tight. The B-Square is very well made also but almost 4 times the price. The Accushot mounts are holding tight for me. Also for my Co2 rifles I use the two piece Accushot.

I have a 50 mil Leapers Scope with a 1 piece Accushot mount on my Gamo Hunter 1250 .22 and that rifles has alot of recoil and the mount or scope has never moved. If you look close in my Album there is a picture of the 1250 and the Accushot mounts and scope.

I like Accushot mounts also.
The two-piece only cost me $9.75 with shipping, one-piece about $13.75 with shipping.
I run the internal set screw down into a drilled or milled spot on the tube to stop creep.

Pyramid air has the medium mount for 15.96 and the high mount for 19.95

I also use them and never have had a problem with them. I have a Genesis with a 30mm  tube Barska 3X12X52 mounted on it and it has never moved.

Scragglepoint has the prices I've found on these mounts and they ship via USPS for a low cost!
I think my last purchase was $9.75 total for Accushot high two-piece mounts: $7.50 for high strength 2-piece mounts (with the stop screw) plus a whopping $2.25 for USPS postage. I had them in my hand within two days!
Accushot one-piece mounts are only $11.50 and $14.95 at Scragglepoint.
