« on: June 29, 2008, 10:58:59 AM »
As I promised,, this one,s for you Ed,(Shadow)!!! 15 yrds. right in the top of the ole noggin! (exit below the jaw) This pistola really packs a punch with the Boss valve & 14" brl. But, more importantly, with a rest,(my truck door in this case) the BSA pistol scope helps these old eyes to really hit the mark!! This pistol really is AWSOME! Ok, enough Bla Bla from me,, Picture time!! Tim.

Nice shooting Tim!  You didn't waste any time drawing first blood with that new pistola I see :-)

Is that a polished barrel?  Your pistol looks very nice.  You also have a matching color trigger shoe!
Keep up the good work buddy.  I hope I 'll be posting pics of my first kill with my new 2240, unless I send it out to B&A or Mac1 for a good tune first :)

GREAT SHOOTIN! with a pistola Tim I make it a point to keep sharp with mine also, never know when you have to draw on the fly and drop em in their track's. Superb pic's of your harvest my friend, thank's for sharing. Ed

Mark,, with the 14.5" brl. & Bryan & associates valve I get 22 full power shots @ 600 fps.(14.3 gr. Crossman Domes)  I have taken "Tree Rats" out at up to 25 yrds. with it no problem. Of course 11.43 ft. lbs. (muzzle) is considered marginal for this duty. Shot placement is crucial. Alot of folks just dont understand how "Tough" Squirrels really are,, man let me tell you,, I have hit MANY with 20 + ft. lbs. just to watch them scurry off up a tree!! On the other hand,, I have taken many with a stock $50 2240 pistol @ close range!! Tim.

oh yes, I am very familiar with how tough they can be.

my back yard is filled with oak trees...........

how is the volume of that pistol compared to a springer rifle?
