Got A Nutter One!! (Very Graphic!!)

Ok, so Im building a deck & fence for my 73 year "young" Friend. He loves hunting, but his wife is a "tree hugger". While she was gone shopping today he asks me, Please ,, these squirrels are eating all my bird seed can you help me?? He He He!! You betcha!! This one ran up the big oak tree when we approached, stopped about 30 ft. up & looked down at me resting my trusty newly configurated 2250 against  a post. I placed the crosshairs of the BSA 2.5 X pistol scope between his eyes & touched my "thought trigger",,,, THWACK!! A solid hit!! (Many here know as I do that satisfying sound that indicates a direct skull hit!!) He dropped like a rock,, only a few little twiches. My Buddy was very happy to say the least!! He wanted to investigate the damage inflicted by my "little bb gun",, so thats why you see the deck nail in the wound channell. Next to the other one (2 1/2" long) you can see that the pel. penitrated about 2". My "Young" Friend was so impressed he wants me to "build" him a pistola!! (Im gonna let him borrow one of my rifles first!!LOL!!) Anyway,, after his wife got home,,  she agreed to let me take ONE Deer& ONE Turkey a year on thier property!! Life is good!! Tim.

Thanks guys for the responses!! I shure have come along way from: "Others are Watching",, to posting pics. with a nail in the head of a Squirrel!! He He!! (Just did it to show the penitration of the pel.) Just to beat all he$$ they just pulled into my driveway,,, brought me 4 BIG OLE NY strip steaks!! I insisted today that I was off the clock when I helped them "Set up" the new  deck area around thier pool for the holiday weekend,, great satisfaction helping others that are maybee too old & can use the help of a 49 yr. old "Youngster"!!LOL!! What goes around shurly comes around folks. And,, I have permision for ONE Deer,, ONE Turkey!!  It just dont get any better!! Have a GREAT weekend my Friends,,,, Tim.

Mmmmm, New York strip topped with shredded nutter. Hey Tim, it's all good. If you get a chance ride down and we'll take care of some critters, on the 40ac I've got access to,or try out try out some of the couple dozen "privet ponds",hehe. One of the ponds has some bluegill that would blow your mind. Also there's a lake that has huge crappie I toss'm back if there less than 16".

Timmyj, you're a liar.....I know you nailed that nutter with a nailgun and posed it with your beautiful 2250.  heh heh    Very impressive penetration btw....and great shooting.  Glad you have a new deer and turkey hunting ground.....

Good shooting Tim!  That 2250 sure looks nice!!  So does the squirrel with the nail in its head :-)  2" penetration is is pretty darn good.  You got a 2250 on steroids.  Maybe I 'll send you mine after I get my other guns squared away and you can soop it up for me with that boss valve and some trigger work :)  I 'm 'only' getting 475fps out of my new 2250 with 14.3gr (70deg.) and the 10.1" barrel.  It 's in great need of some steroid treatment :)

Once again Harry,, Just say the word,, I will send my pistol to you. I think yours is not a 2250, but a 2300  or a 2240 custom?? As you know,, the 14.5" 22 brl adds ALOT of power to the XX c-o2 guns. In all honesty,, this latest post of mine,, a stock valve. (My only funcional B&A valve is in my 2260 rifle) HMMMMM??  Of course if I send you my 2250 pictured in this thread & you send me your 2240 to "Hop Up"  It may take me quite some time to "tune" your pistol for you. If you want to end up with one like in my pics. (Performance wise,, not including custom grips & inlays on fore arm),, its gonna take me 2 or 3,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hours!!LOL!! (Inside Joke between me & Harry!!LOL!!) Let me know Buddy!! Of course, you could just call me??  Tim.

You 're right, I have a 2300 (2240 custom).  I 'll try to call you this weekend.  It's late and I 'm not thinking too straight.  All I know you and I are up past midnight writing about airguns and critter kills.. think there might be something wrong with us?  :-)
