Thanks for sharing the pic of the racoon's skull Tim.  That helps.  Is that the hole from your .177 pellet towards the back?  
BTW, I didn't know racoons grow antlers :)

Yea Harry that clean pass thru hole is from Ye Ole "Chopper" (Diana 350) in 177 cal.!! The Deer skull also has a "small" hole in the top of it,around the 7 ring?? As I recall,, I shot that Deer with my bow,, I think when he fell,,,,,, a "stick" may have poked a small hole in the rear upper part of his skull?? Nice shot to the "fuse box" on the coon uh??LOL!! Tim.

And only four points, the jack-a-lopes have six points on the larger older males :)
