The croshairs of the chosen scope would look right down the center of the barrel??? Am I the only one that tries to make every effort to mount scopes as low as posible?? Yes, Diana guns have "solid mount" issues as we all know. Of course I will get "Jumped On" for this,,The REAL problem is the Diana Base itself,, Slight modifications to it from the factory would eliminate all the "Back Yard" mounting & "Band Aid" Mounts becoming available now. Sorry,, I just had to say it. My 4 Diana guns that I own now,(MANY in the past) all are doing well with my own "Back Yard" mounts,, (I would not recomend nor condone my methods to others). Lower is better,, I personally dont want my scope mounted high atop a mount that is unreasonably high, just so it wont "move". Untill Diana GETS THE HINT,, GEEZZEEE,, The new mounts becoming available are probly the way to go for those that want a SOLID scope mount. Still,, I think,, lower is better?? Tim.
