I did indeed go for the bipod but you must remember that I'm used to stalking with 10lb rifles.  This thing is still so light to me that I giggle when I hold it.

On the scope I took a risk.  I bought a Barska 6X24X42 with mil dots.  I am actually pleased with it at this point but time will tell.

I'm still kicking myself after watching the video.  If I'd just bought the scuba clamp ANYWAY I would already have the part I need for the darn pump.  UGH.
