manual for gamo big cat
« on: July 15, 2008, 11:11:14 AM »
Hello, I recently purchased a big cat, and i am planning on first installing the GRT-III trigger.  I also would like to buy a spring replacement kit and replace the stock spring and tune the rifle a bit, as I would like to increase it's longevity as well as it's consistency ( re FPS ).  I want my air rifle to be consistently accurate as well as remain reliable.

I have searched online a bit and the forums as well, for any kind of .pdf or manual that is more in depth than the general service manual i received with the rifle.  I would ideally like something that details disassembly or replacement of internal parts, images / diagrams would be nice as well.  I am someone who likes to get into the internals of mechanical things as well as other hardware like computers, etc so I would say I am pretty adept at these kinds of tasks.

If anyone would be willing to share any information regarding the disassembly of this rifle or specific tuning advice, I'd really appreciate it.  Even better would be any kind of manual that a certified gunsmith or tuner might possess.  That would aid me greatly.  Thanks for your help and I have enjoyed browsing these forums so far, lots of good info.

Give Bob (CDT) a call. I'm sure he can get you a parts diagram. He's a fan of the Gamo brand, and works on alot of them. That's where I'd start. tjk

Check out the Library here on our forum. There is quite a bit of info there and it seems like a lot of people do not take advantage of it. A very good source for information.

Also, on my website there is a B/19 Tuneup giude (same as most Gamo's) on the "Airgun Info" page.
