Has Anyone Tried this?
« on: July 16, 2008, 11:21:19 AM »
My spring guide is hollow....Hmm would it be a bad idea to fill it with some kind of vibration dampening material?
Im thinking Silcone or something that would set and stay in there on its own....
Comments?
Ideas?
Am I retarded?

Thanks 8)

What gun and how well does it fit the spring? If it doesn't fit the spring right, you would be better off to make another guide.

You could always fill the guide with lead. Lead is great for dampening vibration, and if done correctly, would be a lot less likely to come loose than RTV silicone.
