Wow Ed, I have never seen a sign like that.  It's usually "POSTED, Private property, keep out, no Hunting allowed, violators will be prosecuted.." Even when I hunt on state land I have never seen a sign saying "com'on in, public hunting area".  So how far is that from where you live?  Probably down the road?  I 'm jealous..

Yup right down the road Harry :) but I alway's follow the rules and reg's of hunting and if it's in season  and cook's up I'll take it.:) Other then that I do varment damage control around my place and for the neighbor's. It's really nice to get there and get a layout of the area, locate animal trails and pick out good bushy blind's . I located a small watering hole and we all now the critter's got to drink.:) Ed

Okay, so while you've had al kindsa rain we've been sitting in a dry heat.  I think it's time I gather by better shooters and git a few kills in.
