I just did the mod, it was very easy.  I have a drill press, started teh pilot hole with a 3/32 drill bit.  Then followed that with teh 1/8" drill bit for the final hole.  The steel is soft and easy to drill, I went slowly and needed no oil.  After the mod, I polished all the rubing surfaces with 1000-grit wet-dry sand paper to polish them up.  Oil on all fulcrum and rubing points, re-assembly, the trigger safety spring can be moved forward to re-insert the safety button, through the large button hole after the trigger and barell assembly are reinstalled in the stock.

Very straight forward.

The trigger pull is now about 40% of what it was originally and will take you by surprize on the first shot.

Hello Scott I'm glad you found the site and made a post in it . I'm also happy the mod worked for you as well . There seems to be a lot of controversy over this trigger assembly that is really not as bad as some make it out to be . Especially on a $239 .00 rifle .Marvin
