bird feeder robber dies gruesome death
« on: July 22, 2008, 04:07:54 PM »
This guy had more than a little gray on his shoulders, he has been running every time I open the door for a year. His hearing must of been getting poor, one shot with the CDT tuned .177 CFX using JSB Predators and down he went at 20 yards or so. I am using Leepers two piece rings and the Centerpoint 3 x 9 and find it does the job.

I use this particular spot with all my "inedible kill" as the local coyote packs come by several times a day. Nothing stays out more than a few hours. The local ravens will drop in on the smaller tasties also. Been thinking of a game camera with the attached motion sensor and night lighting so that I can watch the boys clean up what I leave out. I have four gamo CFXs - I am an addict. Two in .177 and two in .22. I like to have friends over and not have the issue of "you are using the better gun". Each pair is set up identically. Also have two Gamo 440s in .177. Great gun but both have lost a spring so far.
