Sold my Career 707 II this week and HAD to replace it with SOMETHING.  One of the guys on the Yellow made me an offer I just COULD NOT refuse, I mean really he twisted my arm and I almost cried...haha!!!  Here she is, should arrive on Tuesday of the next week, I can hardly wait:


Air Arms S400 Carbine in the 12fpe version.  It will be just a bit different than shooting the Career 707 that blows everything to kingdom come, but will fit much better in my small backyard shooting range.  I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!

The Career was an awsome gun.  Accurate, easy on air, power to spare....., but I usually shoot in my tiny backyard, so it wasn't needed.  The other incentive was size, I have grown really fond of carbine length guns and the Career was a real brute!  I am realising of course that I no longer own a repeater, but loading one at a time really doesn't bug me, the repeater idea really didn't make any difference when shooting off a bench, single shot is fine.

Ya know Ed I have been really blessed in the ways of the airgun, I mean I always fall into great deals, from great people, never any problems.  Only had one gun get a bit of shipping damage and the matter was resolved without issue.  I've probably gone through almost 4 dozen rifles by now, I'm just lucky I guess.  Will let you know how it shoots when it gets here, I suspect I will be really pleased:)

I've already started bugging Steve about a stock for it:)  I am now down to 5 rifles, 3 PCP's, 1 CO2 and one springer.  This will be my first Air Arms gun, and I have waited a long time to get my hands on one.

Congrats Dan. I'm a bit jealous. If I were going to step over the dark edge, those AA guns would be right at the top of the list.

Hey Dan congrats on your new purchase. I just got one of those AA's last week....a .22 410S carbine (10 shot repeater).....what a lovely shooter. Bet yours will be awesome too. Enjoy.

This will be my 8th or 9th PCP, I usually only keep them for a short time:)  I have had 2 repeaters in my collection at different times and couldn't quite justify the repeater for the kind of shooting I do.  I'm pretty sure that this will be a gun I keep for quite awhile though:)
