TF stock done
« on: July 30, 2008, 01:09:02 PM »
Well here she is set up for a lefty with grip and other stock fancies. Extended butt pad for comfort and it's smooth and streamline now, much better to hold the 700+fps B3 action which fit's like a glove with some TLC. Also made a wooden cocking handle for her and just finishing up with a laser which will sit at the end of the barrel. I had a brainstorm on how to mount it hehehe. Take the original hooded sight which was mounted on the barrel dremel out the sight inside, flip it upside down and... the laser fit's right inside snug.:) Mounted a cheap Powerline on her since I havent had problem one with em and sighted in at 30yrd's, killer group's hehehehe. I'm working on a cover plate for the back of the action, wood I'm thinking but you know how these project's can go on and on, still got to finish my 57 which probably hates me by now lol. First pic is lighter due to my FLASH!.:)Ed

Thank's Mike your stock inspired me to get after some wood again and I'm hauling your baby out on hunt's  but their just playing hard to get lately, between the thunder and rainstorm's. No worries though I'll be getting my share in no time. Ed

Nice work Ed!! I really like the wood cocking handle. I have been busy working at cleaning soy sauce ever since the cummins tool truck showed up around here last week. Me and my brother have been cleaning and polishing the internals and working the triggers. The new batch of B3's were 25.00 a piece but seem a little nicer than usual.  Yeah  splash is right you may have to put some camo jamies over that B3 he sent you. The shine of that sweet shooter is probably spooking game.
