Made time today to run the new pellets over the chrony, as well as retesting the ones I shot last week. The big surprise was the retest of the pellets I shot before. I would have expected them to all shoot a little faster across the board, as the rifle should be smoothing out. Instead, it's a mixed bag. Not sure what it all means. And of course, none of this has any bearing on accuracy. It's also interesting to note that the 2 lightest pellets I have are producing more power than the heavys. The Predators made a good showing, I'm really looking forward to see what happens when I get the new scope. The FTS's are a weird pellet in .22, very short and chunky. Even though the numbers look pretty good, they haven't shot well for me so far. Big surprise, the Exacts I have are 5.52 mm, and don't seem to do well in this gun. I'll need to retry these in a 5.50, if I can get it.
Guess that's about it. Oh, top two grids are todays test, bottom is a reprint of last week. Later.
