It seems I didn't have a pic of my rifle that was a small enough file to be uploaded onto the forum.  So while hunting this morning I snapped another pic, in a different resolution, and while doing so, I spotted this critter in the distance...

Looks like a skunk,, is that correct????   If it is I think I'd leave him be  :)

Looks like a beautiful hunting spot,,, some kind of grove???   Whatever it is looks like it has critter potential  :)

Well, guess the pic I took of my rifle was 156 KB...Dang!  I guess i'll have to take another some more pics until I can get is under the 150 KB maximum.

anyway, yes, it was a skunk, and I wouldn't even think of shooting it, especially with my 45.  It was very timid though...I was able to walk within 20 ft of it without it raising it's tail.  I wasn't about to get any closer though.

A skunk out in daylight?  Sounds rabid to me.  Is that an avocado grove?

Right click on your picture of your gun, click "OPEN WITH" select "PAINT"  Click "IMAGE" select "Stretch/Skew"  in the first blank type in 50. same with the next box.  This should reduce the size of you image by 50%. Put in different percentages until your picture looks about 4"x5" or smaller.  then "Save" your image and upload.  This method should work regardless of resolution.

Okay, I took some more pics this morning, and got them all under 150 KB, which seemed to be a light factor...anyway...finally, here she is, my RWS 45:

There is a family of Skunks in this Cherry orchard.  Right next to the Cherry orchard is an Orange orchard, both of which I've seen Skunks, ground squirrels, and lots of doves.

I wouldn't say WAY up north...I'm in Southern California.  Neither our Cherries or Oranges are in season.

Nice air rifle and beautiful hunting grounds you have there.

To shrink pictures I use a program from microsoft, called image resizer. Very easy to use and it incorporates
into your right click menu.

VSO image resizer is the free tool I use for Vista. Works great except it will ask you if you want to buy it every time you fire it up.
