I know it's been awhile since I took a harvest, not from lack of hunting but lack of varment's.:( It seem's that their keeping a low profile or getting ready for fall. Well yesterday I recieved a call from a friend who was is need of some help, something has been eating all the green's in his little veggie garden. Bright and early this morning I loaded up SPLASH'S aka Mike's sweet B3 and some Predator's and headed out at 6:00am. I arrived at the location of the veggie crime and spoke with the victim and looked over the damage, yup it's a rabbit alright. Scoping out a good hide I found a nice spot 30yrds out from the garden, it would give some space between the green raider and me, don't want to crowd em and makes for a clean shot. well there I sat in the middle if a bunch of old lumber with the "B" and Predator loaded waiting. About a half a hour passes when he emerges from the high grass stop's and raises up on his haunch's to check for danger, the "B" is already layed out with the crosshair's set. Two hop's and back on his haunch's, back down and a quick dash to the edge of the garden. With the coast clear for him or so he think's he start's in on the green's at the edge of the garden, perfect hehehehe. Crosshair's set, nice side profile of the fusebox and Predator away. A Predator makes a nice sound in the silence of the morning and with that he makes one grand leap, land's and slump's to his side. I already had set up my yard's from the edge of the garden so I climbed out of the lumber and scooted over to check out the shot placement, right where I put it. I snatched him up and headed for my friend's house, he met me at the door and explained that he had been watching from the kitchen window while having his morning java, it was like watching a Sunday morning hunting show he said. He was in suspence waiting for me to take the shot LOL. He doesn't eat rabbit so took a pic and cleaned him up for dinner. This is the guy who had the g-hog problem , I cleaned out the first family but extended family has moved in so it look's like I have more work to do hehehe. Mike your baby performed with flying color's and I thank you for waiting for this moment, she's ready for her next shooter to try her out.:) Ed
